Coaches Blog

Wow!! What an amazing week, so much is going on right now in the Monarch gymnastics world. I want to start by saying great job to the gymnasts for working so hard this week on routines. The L4 and L5 have started with floor and the L6 and optionals are on the grind learning beam. We have a long road a head of us but we got our foot in the door and will be prepared for our first meet in October. Which reminds me, the girls have started a count down in the gym to our first meet! Everyone is super excited. Thanks Becky for making the calender:) In other news, the cartwheel-a-thon was a smash. This fundraiser is always fun for the girls and super helpful for families. Top 5 gymnasts are:
Megan Birkenhauer- $175
Rachel Massie- $163
Kamille Austin- $150
Hope Cleghorn- $115
Becky Palmer- $113
Congratulations for working so hard ladies.

First Post

Hello Monarchs!
This is a very busy and exciting time for us. I wanted to welcome our new coach Bekah Grossmann to the team. Bekah is a former Monarch that spent her entire High school career competing YMCA Gymnastics. She currently attends the University of Cincinnati and is super excited about working with the level 4s and starting a new chapter of her life right here at PCY. Bekah will be taking over for Julian within the next couple of weeks. Although Julian will be missed he won't be a stranger in our gym and has really enjoyed his year with us. We wish him well.
Don't forget about the Mandatory Parent Meeting Friday August 13th in the Multi-Purpose room immediately following practice. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
