We've been challenged!- TOMORROW!

Monarchs,
Andrew (Kristin's husband) challenged the entire team to the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, so we accepted!  I've attached the video if you want to check it out.  We are nominating our very own parent board (yes, all of you!), the PCY Tigersharks, and Ken Anstaett!
In short, ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord and currently does not have a cure.  The Ice Bucket challenge was created in order to raise awareness/donations for the disease.  If you would like to make a donation, you can visit the ALS website:
http://www.alsa.org/fight-als/ice-bucket-challenge.html

We will being doing the ice bucket challenge tomorrow IN BETWEEN PRACTICES (about 5:45pm) back behind the volleyball courts.  Parents are more than welcome to come watch!
  • If your gymnast practices in the first group- 3's and 4's, make sure they bring an extra change of clothes (unless you don't mind taking them home wet;)
  • If your gymnast practices in the second group- don't show up in your leotard. Bring a leotard to change into (since we will be doing the challenge after warm-up and stretching- so make sure you wear athletic clothing for the beginning of practice)
Thanks!
Jasmine
